The castles and cultural artistic heritage of the entire Altopiano di Pinè and Valle di Cembra are worth a visit: these areas boast numerous castles, sanctuaries, and historic palaces that you can visit during your vacation in Trentino at Hotel Posta 1899. Particularly renowned are the places of worship in the area such as the Sanctuary of the Madonna di Pinè in Montagnaga, just a few minutes’ walk from our hotel, and the Madonna dell’Aiuto in Segonzano. The Valsugana area, just a few kilometers from Hotel Posta 1899, is also rich in castles and historic fortresses. The castles you can visit during your vacation are:

1. Castel Ivano: a fascinating monument with a history and a prestigious cultural center;
2. Castel Pergine: overlooks the Via Claudia Augusta in the upper Valsugana and Lake Caldonazzo;
3. Buonconsiglio Castle in Trento.

Muse – Trento

The New Museum of Science designed by the famous architect Renzo Piano. Starting from the top floor, from the peaks and glaciers, and descending to the basement level, below sea level, visitors will embark on a journey through different altitudes and habitats, thus discovering new lands and learning about the limits and merits of nature.

Diocesan Museum Tridentino – Trento

The museum is located in the ancient Palazzo Pretorio and houses a remarkable exhibition of furnishings, sculptures, paintings, Flemish tapestries, as well as historical testimonies belonging to the period of the Council of Trent.

Civic Gallery – Trento

The Civic Gallery of Trento was set up from the collections and expertise of the Mart in Rovereto. It exudes a new and innovative atmosphere, linked to experimentation, innovation, new visions, and modern international languages.

Gianni Caproni Aeronautical Museum – Trento

Founded in the early 1900s by the Trentino aviation pioneer Gianni Caproni, it exhibits a permanent collection of historic aircraft.

Piedicastello Galleries – Trento

These are two galleries of different colors, one white and one black, once used as road tunnels, now disused. They are an original and innovative exhibition venue managed by the Fondazione Museo storico del Trentino.
