Sacred Places and Castles
The castles and the entire cultural heritage of Altopiano di Pinè and Valle di Cembra are worth a visit: these areas are plenty of castles, sacred places and historical palaces that you can visit during your holiday in Trentino at Hotel Posta 1899.
The places of worship in the nearby are well known: the shrine of “Madonna di Pinè” in Montagnaga, at a very short distance from our hotel, and the shrine “Madonna dell’Aiuto” in Segonzano.
Valsugana, few kilometres from Hotel Posta 1899, is another great area if you like visiting castles and strongholds.
The castles you can visit during your holiday are:
- Castel Ivano: fascinating historical monument and prestigious cultural centre.
- Castel Pergine: overlooking Via Claudia Augusta in Alta Valsugana and Caldonazzo Lake.
- Castello del Buonconsiglio in Trento
