Wine & food

The main features of the wine and food of Altopiano di Piné and Valle di Cembra are the genuine flavours respecting the mountain tradition of Trentino. Real captivating temptations: wines and grappas, kinds of cheese and chestnuts, honey and wild berries, mushrooms, etc.

Valle di Cembra is one of the most characteristic areas of Trentino thanks to its landscape scattered with terraced vineyards along the river Avisio. Here, the environment and the wine and food merge imperceptibly and are celebrated during two annual festivals: the Müller Thurgau Festival in July and the Grapes Party on the last weekend of September.

Strawberries, raspberries, red currants and blackberries are some of the wild berries that grow in Altopiano di Piné and in Valle di Cembra, special delicacies to be immediately tasted or transformed into juices, jams and delicious desserts or into sweet honey or eat them with cheese and cold cuts. All these sweet delicacies can be tasted in our Ca’ dei Boci restaurant or purchased at our local producers or at the market selling typical products of Baselga di Piné.

While you are walking in the woods, you can pick up mushrooms, wild berries, nuts and chestnuts, natural products of Trentino that, once you’ve eaten them, make you taste the fresh flavour of nature!

A holiday in Trentino becomes a wine and food tour to discover the real taste of our tradition and nature. A pleasure for your spirit and body.
